Washington Art Gallery - East Building

The East Building of the National Art Gallery was constructed in the 1970s, and was completed in 1978. In contrast to the West Building, the architecture of the building itself is much more modern, and the museum is home to a range of modern art, drawings and sculptures. When I visited, very few other people were there.

The gallery inside is nice are airy

With plenty of abstract art to look at

And some pieces by well-known artists, e.g. Picasso
