that was amazing! guests
on your site will surely agree me that if they happen to browse all the
pictures and read all details about your site which regards about
London. Mostly those who are not that aware about London like me. At
first you'll just read the pages you like to read but then, minute
minute after minute of browsing you'll have interest to check and click
all the link. |

Hello, I've just seen
your page about Little Snoring. I was born and bred there and although I
moved to Newcastle 8 years ago I still have family in the village. A
little info as to how the village got it's name (from what I can
remember). As you may know, East Anglia was a prime target for viking
invasions and when Danelaw was established, there was an influx of
viking noblemen who were set up as the early day Lords of the manor.
Apparently the Snorings were run by a viking named Sneara and eventually
the two villages became Sneara Magna and Sneara Minor(?) which then
became corrupted to Snoring. Thats as much as I can remember but I hope
thats some help! |

Martin,
I spent last night on the web looking for a satisfactory video of the
Rolling Stones singing Brown Sugar. Yours was the best. My 3 yr old
daughter has lately taken a fancy to the song – although I only had the
audio. I can’t wait to show her this video.
After I finished reviewing your other great music video clips (great
mix), I took a look at table of contents in your Science tab. What a
fascinating web site you put together.
Great work

I like the changes
you've made to your site. The links make your recently added content
neater and the site more efficient. Good call. I also like seeing the
"Photo of the Week" again right when I pull up the site.
I know you work hard on your site. It is appreciated. |

First I want to say how
much I like your website, I was looking around for info for my 8 year
old sons schoolwork, he has to do a report on any country, and he picked
England, because he thought his favorite NFL team the New England
Patriots where from England. My fathers family came from England ( I do
not know where) so I thought it would be good for my son to learn about
it. Hopefully someday we will be able to come visit and see it for
ourselves. Feel free to respond if you like,
Thank you,

Sir,
I am impressed by your site since u are a nice human. I went into the
site searching for some easy 'átom' explanation but when I see your
music taste and other details, u seem to be a nice cool person though a
scientist. I want educated people to be like this and not always
stiff-necked, moody or giving a low look at others. God bless you and
your family. Bye |

How odd
that I ended up on your site, having been born in Solihull myself, then
moved to Kenilworth and attended the same school as you. My only
comment on the etiquette section would be in reference to no. 19. Surely
it would be pertinent to mention elbows on tables? Overall an
effective overview of British etiquette for non-Britons. |

illustration on your 'eqmotion' page. Very useful. I'm going to try to

a train by adjusting train mass, gradient, headwind, power output from
traction motors etc. This is a great start. Thanks. |

wonderful job with this website! The photos are first-rate, and the
commentary has held my interest, made me laugh........ and, even cry a

As an unrepentant Anglophile, I must congratulate you on the excellent
photos and descriptions of England. You should consider putting them all
together some day and making a book. Between the England photos and the
dog videos, the diary and the musings - it's impossible to choose what I
enjoy the most. Again, thank you for doing all the work it has taken to
produce such a fine website. Well done!! Sharon |
