Big Ben is one of the most familiar landmarks in London and England, and is in fact the name of the 13-ton bell that rings out from this famous clock tower. It is located at one end of the Houses of Parliament, and still contains cells where errant members of Parliament can be locked up, though the last recorded case was in 1880! |
