Kensington Gardens

Kensington Gardens adjoin Hyde Park, and at one time attempts were made by Queen Caroline to attach the gardens to Kensington Palace. The attempt failed though. There is a small lake called the Round Pond, which is a haven for birdlife, and also for folk with model boats!

As with all the parks in London, there is lots of open space to enjoy

Though not too many people around on this day

You can sit around the Broad Pond and enjoy the view
