River Thames

( HomeLondon → Ships )

The River Thames is now the final resting place for a number of famous ships.  Some of these ships saw action during the world wars.  Perhaps the most famous of the ships is HMS Belfast, which was involved in the D-Day landings of 1944 and taken out of service in 1963.  Luckily, Belfast wasn't scrapped but instead was converted into a museum ship.
