St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul’s Cathedral was begun in 1675, some nine years after the original cathedral was destroyed in the great fire of London. The new cathedral was designed by Christopher Wren, and the dome is one of the archetypal sights of London. The cathedral famously escaped destruction during the German bombing of World War 2.
