The Blue Ridge Parkway is a road that is some 500 miles in length, and which runs through the Blue Ridge Mountains.  The parkway runs from the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, through to Cherokee in North Carolina.  I only saw a small section of the Parkway, but you can’t help but be in awe of the beauty of the scenery – and the peace and quiet you get up on the Parkway.

Wherever you look, you can see peaks

The photos don't show it, but one feature of this part of the Parkway is the sheer peace and quiet
