Hendersonville

Hendersonville (or Historic Hendersonville) is a pleasant town about 20 miles east of Brevard, with a very pretty downtown area. It is located in the Blue Ridge National Heritage Area, and has an excellent visitor’s centre with friendly staff. One feature of interest (to me) is that Main Street is lined with statues of bears, in all manner of colours and styles!
