Holmes State Forest

The Holmes Educational State Forest is located a few miles from Hendersonville and is a managed forest designed to promote an understanding of the ecology of forests. It has hiking trails with little quizzes along the way, and every time I’ve been there it has been packed with school children either playing games or following the activities there.
