Pink Beds

Pink Beds is a recreation area located close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and next to the Cradle of Forestry, on US 276 and about 10 miles from Brevard. Pink Beds is named after the colour of the wild flowers that grow there in spring. There are picnic tables for the not-so-energetic, and a number of trails that can be followed if you have the energy.

Pink Beds is all about forest trails and open recreational space

Not too many people here today though

Lots of facilities for picnics and cook-outs

Pink Beds is not too far from the Blue Ridge Parkway, so low cloud is always possible!
