Waynesville

Waynesville is a small town located near the Great Smoky Mountains, to the north west of Brevard. In some ways Waynesville itself is a pleasant but unspectacular town, but as with all the places I visited the people were wonderfully helpful and friendly to a stranger in their midst. Most interesting of all to me (as a Brit) was seeing an old British telephone box, sitting in the corner in the restaurant where we had lunch!
