Old Bolingbroke is a small village located just a few miles from the town of Spilsby in Lincolnshire.  Perhaps the most notable feature of Old Bolingbroke is its castle, which today exists only as a ruin.  Henry IV, son of John of Gaunt, was born at the castle in 1366.
