Bowness-on-Windermere

Bowness-on-Windermere is the older of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and is one of the main points at which access to Lake Windermere can be gained, for example to take a cruise on the lake. Bowness is located about a mile downhill from the town of Windermere.
