Grasmere is a village located in the central Lake District, and a very popular attraction with tourists on account of its "picture postcard" appearance. William Wordsworth lived in Grasmere for 14 years, and is buried in the cemetery at St Oswald's church. The Grasmere games take place every year in August. |
