Harwell International Business Centre (or Harwell Laboratory, as it was formerly known) is the home of the nuclear industry in the UK. It was formerly an RAF base that saw action in World War 2, and after the war took on the role of a research laboratory that has been home to some of the most famous scientists the world has known. I've been lucky enough to work there for 14 years. |
