The Honister Pass is a mountain pass that lies on the Keswick to Buttermere road - the B5289.  The Honister Pass reaches a total elevation of 356 metres, and the gradients on the pass are as steep as 1:4 (25%).  The surrounding views are quite spectacular at all points on the Honister Pass.
