North Yorkshire Moors

The North Yorkshire Moors are 554 square miles of heather-based national park. There are various small towns and villages on the moors, and as such the moors are home to around 25,000 people.

Heather is the predominant plant on the moors

The moors are not flat

And there are some interesting buildings built on it

Some steep slops for intrepid climbers

And some valleys that are altogether easier to traverse!
