Chipping Norton

Chipping Norton is a market town (in fact, the word “Chipping” is derived from the Old English word for “market”) located on the north edge of the Cotswolds and about 10 miles to the south of Shipston-on-Stour. It has the distinction of being the highest town in the county of Oxfordshire. The Rollright Stones are about 3 miles from Chipping Norton.
