Overton Hill

Overton Hill is located on the A4 a few miles from the town of Marlborough, and just a few miles away from Avebury. According to the sign that marks the hill, Overton Hill has been the focus of human activities for over 5,000 years. Of interest are the numerous burial mounds, built around 4,000 years ago. Overton Hill is also notable for being where the Ridgeway begins.
