Oxford

Oxford is, of course the principal city in Oxfordshire, and is home to the world famous Oxford University, which ahs been in existence for over 800 years now. Oxford University consists of a number of colleges, and the various colleges of the university are scattered through the centre of the city, and only a short stroll around the city centre is required to get a flavour of Oxford as a seat of learning. People often talk about the "dreaming spires" of Oxford, on account of the beauty, history and atmosphere of the place.
