Ripon Cathedral

The cathedral at Ripon is one of the best-known sights. The cathedral only gained that status in 1836, but the building itself had undergone various incarnations for over 1,000 years prior to that. Interestingly, the cathedral is one of the smallest in England, but is also one of the tallest!
