Lake Ullswater is the second largest lake in the Lake District, located in the central region with a length of around 9 miles and a width of around 0.75 miles. At its deepest points, it is around 60 m in depth. According to the Wikipedia article on Lake Ullswater, many regard it as the most beautiful of the English lakes. Glenridding is an important base for exploring the Ullswater region. |
