The Valley of Rocks (or Valley of the Rocks) is about one mile west of Lynton, and is considered by many to provide the most spectacular scenery on Exmoor. How it came to be formed is a mystery, but consensus is that it was formed during the last Ice Age (a few tens of thousands of years ago). |
