York City

York is a moderately large (population about 200,000) city in Yorkshire that was, at one time, one of the two Roman capitals of the UK. In fact, the entire Roman empire was governed for two years from York, by the emperor Septimus Severus. Needless to say, York is a very big draw for tourists.

Piccadilly - yes York has one as well as London!
