Just like Sheena and Penny before, Tess has a completely unique character.  Her most notable feature is the noise she makes.  Whenever something happens that displeases her or upsets her, she starts whining.  Even being told to 'sit' starts her moaning!

Unlike her predecessors, Sheena and Penny, Tess is the most hopeless retriever you could possibly wish to meet.  If you throw her a ball, she is happy to run after it and pick it up, but she simply will not bring it back to you.  Her attention span seems to be limited, so she walks half way back, sees something else of interest, drops the ball, and goes after the other item of interest!  Any answers to this problem, drop me a line!

Apart from her inability to retrieve, Tess is a lovely dog, very affectionate and loves other sorts of play, for example playing tug of war.  Her only other problem is that she gets over-excited when she meets other dogs during a walk, but we hope to cure this problem!  This final photo shows her relaxing after a swim!
