Tex is a cross-breed friend of Tess who comes to stay with my parents and Tess from time to time.  He's a very friendly little dog who we love having over to stay, and his colouring and looks make him a very pretty dog too.

Tex's start in life is shrouded in a little mystery.  He was obtained by his current owners as a rescue dog (he was originally called Rex) and nobody is absolutely certain about how old he is.  One thing is for certain, unlike many dogs who have a bad start in life, Tex is stable and loving.  One wonders quite why anyone would have wanted to give him away!

When he comes over to stay with us, one of his favourite hobbies is getting Tess to play.  I think Tess likes having the company, and as you can see in the photo below, they have fun "sparring" together and making a mess of the place!

The only slightly interesting foible about Tex is that he is not very manly in his demeanour and the way he goes about his business.  Certainly his original name of "Rex" was quite inappropriate!  Tess is certainly the braver of the two dogs!  That doesn't detract from the fact that Tex is a lovely natured dog and we love having him over to stay.
